Ontario Orange appeared as a 1970 Color option in some literature, however we have yet to have a vehicle with a documented 991 trim tag join the registry database. | |

Original Good Year Spare Tire. Tape remains found on the spare tire tub. Tape was placed over the top of the lock. "Micro" wheel weight, the little paper tag on the rubber, the "red stripe" on the tread, and the "bee-bee with corresponding orange dot". From Christian's LS-5 454/390 Hp engine. Close up of a factory original paint scheme for the 'eggcrate' grilles. Note that the horizontal patterns show chrome, whereas the vertical portions are painted, with the only exception being the foremost vertical. All 1970 Corvettes came from the factory like this. (#06733 March 14) |
